Haematology Postgraduate Poster Submissions

The Objective

A state-level platform for postgraduate residents to present their original research and case reports across benign and malignant haematology and transfusion medicine, peer-reviewed by the KC-ISHBT scientific committee and presented at the National CME.

Who Can Submit

Postgraduate (MD & DNB) and super-specialty (DM, DrNB, FNB) trainees from medical colleges and DNB hospitals, in:

  • General Medicine
  • Paediatrics
  • Pathology & Laboratory Haematology
  • Transfusion Medicine
  • DM Clinical Haematology
  • DrNB Clinical Haematology
  • FNB Paediatric Haematology

Deadline to Submit E-Posters: 15 August 2026

Poster Guidelines

  • The presenting author must be in a current training programme.
  • Up to two (2) posters are allowed per delegate, on any haematology topic.
  • Peer-reviewed by the scientific committee and selected for poster presentation. The committee’s decision is final.
  • Registration in KC-ISHBT program to be held on 29th August (Saturday) is mandatory.

Poster Specifications

  • E-Poster Format: Single PPT slide (16:9 aspect ratio) in landscape orientation, should be sent as a PowerPoint or JPEG/ JPG.
  • Title, Authors and Affiliations: These details should be mentioned across the top, with the presenting author underlined.
  • Structure: E-Posters Abstracts should be structured using the following subheadings - Introduction, Methods, Results and Conclusions:
  • Inclusions: Only one (1) table and one (1) figure permitted per poster.
  • Font: The typeface and font size should be clear and readable. As a rule of thumb, if the text is clearly visible on a computer screen, it should also be clearly visible on the e-poster display screen.
