HAEMATOLOGY

KC-ISHBT is a non-profit society, formed in 2012, consisting of haematologists, pathologists, transfusion medicine consultants, physicians, paediatricians, and students of above specialities.

The society aims to create awareness amongst practising doctors and medical students in the field of haematology, haemato-oncology, haematopoietic stem cell transplantation, transfusion medicine, and pathology. Under the aegis of KC-ISHBT, various continued medical education programmes are conducted to help practising doctors and students with the most recent advances and developments in this field.

The society encourages debates / discussions amongst the leaders in this field and the larger audience for dissemination of knowledge.

Students are encouraged to present peer-reviewed articles on clinical haematology, haemato-oncology, haematopoietic stem cell transplantation, transfusion medicine, laboratory haematology and other related topics.

The Karnataka Chapter of ISHBT invites you to participate in this CME on updates in Haematology in Bangalore on the 29th of August 2026. We have a galaxy of senior National faculty in Haematology and Lab and transfusion medicine who will enrich your knowledge in this field. In addition, the state round of the National quiz will also be conducted for post graduates in medicine, pathology and paediatrics.
